The assembly i used only had about 2mm of space on the barrel, which required folding and flexing the rubber boot to make it fit
Fortunately the rubber boot is very flexible (at least in the summer). It has the moon and tunes package (which is a sunroof and supposedly upgraded stereo) The sunroof was retired from usage prior to my purchase (it was siliconed shut, and the fuse pulled).
