2009 vibe steering rattle by olsjason » sun feb 12, 2012 8:52 pm hello, i recently purchased a 2009 vibe 1.8 fwd, and as soon as i got it home i noticed a rattle coming from the steering column area It occurs at low speeds (parking lots, driveways, etc.) and i can duplicate the noise by jiggling the steering wheel back and forth with the car off. Fantastic thread, used it on my vibe The principle is there, and when i went to my local advanced auto parts the parts guru said he used to use this same trick back in his day, so i was sold.
