Because of a post from 13 years ago continuing to get circulation, i'd like to explain that i am joshua jacobs, the son of jason jacobs 1993 was the last catalog to mention them I can and will verify that we make knives because, unlike those who frequented this forum 13 years ago, i not only saw but partook in the making of said knives.

It is a pretty valuable knife but in fairly rough condition and i would like to have it mildly customized with a damascus blade to replace the one that's broken I'm in tualatin, but would be willing to travel an hour or more to find the right craftsman I have heard these knives called “jacobs ladder” knives They are overall fun to play with but imho mostly a toy
Unlike a balisong which is a great practical design I have that perrin, great little knife, fun to play with too I've also played with the tanto triple action, i quite enjoyed it. I was searching around for the best prices for some mosaic pins and ran across his site

I did place a small order as a test , so i guess i'm asking after the fact. The #1 help to e came from frank jacobs (jakeknife) as much like bruce he would call it as he saw it and make you hold your work to a better/higher standard. It has been a huge blessing to me to have all these guys help little old me become a much better knife maker.and i try as i might to pay some of it forward to the new guys I've followed all of the directions and used the same.

I removed the jacobs 33 chucks and put uberchucks on them The earliest buck catalog that has buck darts listed is from 1989 Puma darts from new zealand made the darts and we offered a whole line I never knew there was so much to them
